UNIT DATES: February 24 - March 6, 2020
STUDENT PREPARATION:
Prior to lecture, students should have read the Khan Academy West and Central Asia Unit. Students should be prepared to discuss the impact of region, religion and culture on the art objects of this unit and compare it to the art of the West.

UNIT ASSESSMENTS:
Daily Grade #1&2 - Weekly grade for daily classroom/discussion/activity participation
Daily Grade #3 - Each student is responsible for one (1) unique entry per unit image into the Google Classroom Study Guide for the
current unit. Each entry should be informative to the group, add new information for study, have the student's name
for credit and either a link to a reliable internet source or an MLA citation of the source for the information. Any entry
that does not meet all expectations will not be counted in the grade. Entries are due by midnight on March 5.
Daily Grade #4 - Participation with partner in Drill and Kill during week of February 28.
3rd 9 Weeks Testing - March 2 - 6, 2020
Major Grades #1 & #2 - Multiple Choice Test and Essay Questions on March 3
Exam Components: (50) Multiple Choice over material covered to date
(2) Short Essay Questions
(1) 30-minute Essay Questions
This test will be counted as 2 major grades, Multiple Choice and Essays, in order to fulfill the grade book requirements for the 9 weeks. Point Recovery is not available for this test.
